Taking What You've Learned To The Next Step In A Background Check?

Order Background Check

 So maybe you're ready to take a step back and organize your investigative thought process and start conducting this Background Check like a real Private Investigator. In most cases, Investigators never meet the Subject of the investigation. When Detectives review Background Check data, they're starting from a clean slate never having met the subject so nothing is taken for granted or accepted on face value. You should conduct your check as close to that simulated condition as possible.

The first clue you discovered should be noted and never forgotten or dismissed. You found another name associated with or used by the subject. (Remember: Diane Jones AKA Dianne Jones). 
Keep both names in mind from this point forward and look for that name at every stage and in every location. If you find information under that name, look for other information connecting the dots like birth dates, addresses, signatures or relatives. Look for dates that form any pattern or a lapse in time that's not accounted for. If Diane dropped from site near the same time Dianne appeared, make a note and take that to the next step. Now you've got 2 clues that shouldn't be forgotten or dismissed.

A good Detective will never dismiss a clue until or unless proof is discovered that eliminates that clue. Everything you discover won't make sense because it's not your life you're investigating. The biggest mistake you can make is to assume that you know what the subject of your investigation will or won't do or what they would've never done. Everyone possesses secret information that even their closest friend knows nothing about.

If you see one record of activity in Delaware but your subject has always lived in California, don't dismiss or deny the clue. Maybe your subject never lived in Delaware but falsified documents. Maybe the subject did live there but never told you (big surprise), check Delaware for more information. Maybe you'll gather more background and maybe not but a good Investigator always checks.
