Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention Services (SATPS) is responsible for planning, coordinating and administering a comprehensive statewide system of substance abuse, treatment and prevention activities. SATPS develops, supports and advocates for high quality, accessible, comprehensive and clinically appropriate substance abuse prevention and treatment services in order to decrease the negative effects of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use in Rhode Island, and improve the overall behavioral health of Rhode Islanders.
